Technology helps builders, Realtors in Myrtle Beach area
Local companies are using technology to keep up and get ahead in the still uncertain housing market.
Some builders are turning to design software that allows buyers to take a 3-D tour of their house before it is built, and a local Realtor is doing live video tours of properties for out-of-state clients.
Doug Terhune, owner of Plan View Design of NC LLC, said his business, which designs houses using special software and allows buyers to see three-dimensional views of the house, doubled last year.
