Developers consider Pease prime real estate

The appeal of the Pease International Tradeport is simple. “It’s location, location, location,” according to David Mullen, executive director of the Pease Development Authority. Situated directly next to the Interstate 95 corridor and Spaulding Turnpike, the business park is considered by many to be the most prime place to position a business on the Seacoast and even in the state. Mullen, who has more than 30 years of experience working in real estate and economic development, said the old real estate adage holds true when it comes to Pease. “Portsmouth and the Seacoast area are certainly places people would prefer to live if they can afford the higher housing costs,” Mullen said. “My 30-plus years of working in the real estate and economic development arena have taught me that most CEOs will locate their business and residences within a 15-minute commute of each other. A 15-minute commute from Pease provides CEOs with a lot of residential opportunities to choose from if they can afford to do so.” The proof of how popular Pease is can be found in the numbers.
